Itinerary

Experience the raw power and majesty of Mount Vesuvius, one of the world’s most famous volcanoes. Ascend to the crater and take in breathtaking panoramic views over the Bay of Naples, the surrounding coastline, and the fertile slopes shaped by centuries of volcanic activity.

Learn about the volcano’s geology, eruptions, and lasting impact on the region from your expert guide, who brings to life the stories of its dramatic past. This stop offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature and witness the forces that shaped the Vesuvian landscape, creating an unforgettable and awe-inspiring experience.

Pompeii Vesuvius wine Tasting

Immerse yourself in the unique flavors of the Vesuvian region with a wine tasting at a family-run winery located at the foot of Mount Vesuvius. Savor the famous Lacryma Christi wines, grown in rich volcanic soil, each sip revealing the character of this extraordinary terroir.

Accompanied by light regional specialties, the tasting offers an authentic and sensory journey through local flavors, aromas, and traditions. Set against the dramatic backdrop of the volcano, this experience combines natural beauty, heritage, and gastronomy in a way that lingers in memory long after the last glass.

Pompeii is an extraordinary archaeological site and a haunting window into the Roman world, frozen in time by the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. This vast, open-air museum features remarkably preserved streets, villas, and public spaces where you can walk through the Forum, admire the ancient Amphitheatre, and view vibrant frescoes in the Villa of the Mysteries. Famed for its poignant plaster casts of victims and its “vertical” history revealed through ongoing excavations, Pompeii offers a unique blend of tragic history and monumental beauty, continuing to captivate visitors in 2026 with new discoveries, such as the recently unveiled ancient graffiti in the theater district.
