Terms & Conditions of Sale

Art. 1

General Provisions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the official CiaoNaples website and the sale of tourist services offered by CiaoNaples (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer” or the “Company”). By making a booking, the Customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full.

  • Customer means any individual or legal entity making a booking
  • Consumer means a natural person acting for purposes unrelated to their business or professional activity
  • Service Contract means any agreement under which CiaoNaples provides a tourist service in exchange for payment

CiaoNaples reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Changes shall not affect bookings already confirmed.

Art. 2

Services Provided

CiaoNaples organizes and promotes:

  • Cultural tours
  • Group and private excursions
  • Customized travel experiences
  • Services with or without transportation
  • Transportation provided by licensed third-party operators

All service descriptions published on the website form an integral part of the contract. CiaoNaples is not responsible for services provided by third parties accessible through external links.

Art. 3

Booking and Contract Formation

Submitting a booking request constitutes full acceptance of these Terms. The contract is considered concluded only upon receipt of payment and issuance of a confirmation email.

The confirmation email includes: booking summary, date and time, meeting point details, and operational instructions.

Art. 4

Prices and Payment Methods

All prices are expressed in Euro (€) and may be subject to change without notice. Price changes do not affect already confirmed bookings.

Accepted payment methods:

  • Credit / Debit Card
  • PayPal
  • Bank transfer
  • Digital payment links

The booking is finalized only after payment authorization. Bank fees and transaction charges are the responsibility of the Customer. In case of pricing errors, CiaoNaples reserves the right to correct or cancel the booking upon notification.

Art. 5

Promotional Codes

Promotional codes must be entered at the time of booking and before completing payment. No discounts can be applied retroactively.

Unless otherwise specified, promotional codes are non-transferable, cannot be combined, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are subject to expiration.

CiaoNaples reserves the right to invalidate any promotional code used improperly or fraudulently.

Art. 6

Cancellation Policy

General Rule: No cancellations or refund requests are accepted within 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the service.

More than 48 Hours: Requests received more than 48 hours in advance may be evaluated at the sole discretion of the Organizer.

No Show: Failure to attend the meeting point at the scheduled time will result in 100% loss of payment, with no refund and no rescheduling.

Art. 7

Delays

Participants must arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.

For group tours, delays exceeding 30 minutes are automatically considered a No Show. Customers must immediately contact CiaoNaples in case of delay.

Admission after delay is entirely at the discretion of the Organizer and subject to operational feasibility.

Art. 8

Insurance and Liability

Where transportation is included and provided by licensed third-party operators, services are covered by mandatory insurance in accordance with applicable regulations.

CiaoNaples shall not be liable for traffic delays, weather conditions, government restrictions, force majeure events, or customer misconduct.

Liability shall in no event exceed the total amount paid for the service, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.

Art. 9

Force Majeure

Force majeure includes, but is not limited to: extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, and cruise ship docking cancellations.

In such cases, CiaoNaples may reschedule the service, offer a voucher, or issue a refund.

Art. 10

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

By completing a booking, the Customer expressly accepts these Terms and Conditions. Any chargeback or payment dispute initiated after acceptance of these Terms will be formally contested, supported by contractual documentation, and may result in legal action to recover owed amounts.

Art. 11

Refunds

No partial refunds are granted for unused portions of services. Authorized refunds may be subject to deductions for banking fees, transaction costs, and non-refundable tickets.

Art. 12

Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR). Customers may request access to their data, correction, or deletion by contacting:

Art. 13

Intellectual Property

All website content (text, images, logos, trademarks) is the property of CiaoNaples or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized reproduction is strictly prohibited.

Art. 14

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. For Consumers, the competent court shall be the court of residence or domicile of the Consumer, as provided by law.
