Ciao Naples is a tour operator specializing in guided visits and hands-on experiences throughout Italy, with a particular focus on archaeology and art. Based in Naples, our services span the entire Campania region and beyond into Southern Italy.
We offer guided walking tours or tours by private transport, catering to small groups and individual clients alike. Upon request, we also design fully customized itineraries, crafted to the unique interests and needs of each of our valued guests.
The Story of Ciao Naples
The name Ciao Naples was born from our desire to welcome every guest with the warmth and familiarity typical of Neapolitan tradition: a simple greeting, yet full of promises of discovery.
Before founding CiaoNaples, Davide Lombardo spent five years working across Campania and Southern Italy as a tour guide, professional driver, and tour leader, honing his skills in hospitality, storytelling, and logistics.
In 2022, Davide and a small group of art, history, and gastronomy enthusiasts founded CiaoNaples in Naples, determined to turn every visit into an authentic, tailor-made experience.
From Passion to Agency
During one of his research trips, Davide was captivated by the archaeological and cultural heritage of Campania. Drawing on his years guiding visitors through ancient sites and coordinating seamless transfers, he decided to set aside his digital career and devote himself full-time to organizing guided tours. Thus were born the first itineraries through Naples’s historic center, led by certified guides sharing local anecdotes and historical curiosities.
Team Growth
2023: Enthusiastic feedback and our first hundreds of 5-star reviews on TripAdvisor prompted CiaoNaples to expand its staff. Specialized guides, professional drivers, and collaborators in the food & beverage and multimedia fields joined the team.
2024: We launched our new transfer and excursion services, taking guests to Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast, and Caserta—with comfort and safety always at the forefront.
